dilatazione is a project born in italy in 1999 like a trio of instrumental, cinephile rock. from the beginning they integrate their live concerts with a video show. in 2002 their third demo, "fotogrammi", got entusiastic reviews on italian newspapers and specialistic fanzine (like blow up, rockit, sodapop, movimenta, ...). in 2003 a new guitarist joined the group, collaborating to the composition of new songs. in 2 last years dilatazione played at festivals like sete sois sete luas, no silenz fest, cinema blast, rockcalvi... the debut album, produced by try dog lab(el) and slowmotionpinguino, was recorded and mixed in september 2005 at alpha dept studio in bologna by amaury cambuzat (ulan bator / faust) and francesco donadello (giardini di mirò) in ten days of passion and sweat. alessio gioffredi is the new drummer of ulan bator.
